Anthony Patrick “Tony” Hadley (born 2 June 1960 in Islington, London) is an English pop/new wave and blue-eyed soul singer, famed as lead vocalist of 1980s band Spandau Ballet. Known for hits like “True,” “Gold,” and “Through the Barricades,” he also performs solo swing and crooner style. His latest album is “If I Can Dream” (2025), revisiting his jazz/swing work and featuring a duet with Tony Christie. Honoured with an MBE and a Gold Badge award, he’s celebrated for his powerful voice, chart success, theatre roles, and charity work.
